Have a glimpse about my journey for law to marketing!
My writing journey began as a journalist at a legal tech start-up, Can Law, where I first discovered my passion for storytelling, content creation, and marketing.
In 2018, I became a Student Blogger for Queen’s University Belfast, crafting articles that celebrated Malaysian culture and introduced it to the wider student community. That same year, I served as Media Executive for the United Kingdom & Ireland Malaysian Law Students’ Union, further honing my skills in communication and outreach.
By 2020, I collaborated with the founder of Brainylaw, a legal education blog, to develop a fresh content niche tailored for Malaysian undergraduate law students. I also had the privilege of working with Lina Esa, Editorial Director and Co-Founder of Cult Creative, which expanded my perspective on creative industries.
Soon after, I joined Study International as a Content Writer, covering the diverse world of international education — from inspiring student success stories to the latest trends shaping global learning. My time there molded me into the writer I am today.
Currently, I bridge the worlds of law and technology as a Content Marketer at LexisNexis, a global leader in authoritative legal AI workflows.
Whether it’s a story, idea, or message, I believe in the power of writing to create meaningful impact and connect with the right audience.
Fun fact: Photography is my second interest!
Beyond writing, I also dabble in photography, with a particular focus on travel photography. I’m always open to opportunities that allow me to refine my craft and grow as a photographer.
Most recently, I volunteered with Focus on the Family Malaysia—a nonprofit dedicated to helping families thrive—where I served as a photographer for one of their events.
